How We Have Helped
A client came in that was a single parent with 2 children needing rental assistance. Due to Covid the clients’ hours were cut at work, and she could not find childcare. The Salvation Army Borger Service Center assisted her with $500.00 of rent. She also needed food, so we gave her food assistance and some items from our hygiene closet (toilet paper, soaps etc.). This allowed the client to get back on her feet and get back her normal hours for work.
